Special Morning Elective for Leaders

We are thrilled to have Walt Mueller join us again this summer. He will be teaching an elective for leaders at both High School Florida conferences.  He is a leading voice in equipping the Church to winsomely engage youth and families with the truth of God’s word amidst the ever changing ways of culture.  We are thrilled to have he and his wife Lisa with us for two weeks this year.

Guiding Students Through The Cultural Maze Of Sexuality and Gender

The cultural narrative on sexuality and gender has seemingly won the day over the last couple of years. In our culture of individualism and intuition, our kids believe that the right path is to feel their way into choosing beliefs and behaviors that are true for them at any given moment. What is the cultural narrative? And how do we guide our kids into hearing and understanding the biblical narrative for sexuality and gender? Over the course of our days together in this leader seminar, Walt will help you understand the cultural narrative, lead you into an understanding of God’s design for His good gifts of sex and gender, and help you develop strategies for conversing and ministering to your students with truth and grace.
