Jim Hahn

Hope Presbyterian Church, Rym Church Intern
New Braunfels, TX

Jim grew up in Knoxville, TN where he was a member of Redeemer Knoxville, a church plant that his father pastored for over 10 years. Jim graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2019 with a Biology degree and Religion minor. He first sensed a call to serve in youth ministry through his time as a YoungLife leader in college. He saw first hand how the Gospel can change the lives of the teenagers.  Since moving to Texas God has affirmed this call to vocational ministry. Jim leads and teaches a growing youth ministry at his church and oversees all trips to RYM retreats.  Jim also preaches occasionally at Hope Church on Sundays when his head pastor allows, and hopes to continue to grow in this skill in the coming months ahead! Jim ultimately plans to head off to seminary so he can further grow his understanding of the Gospel and one day enter into church leadership.  He is currently living in New Braunfels, Texas in community with his congregation.  Jim's favorite hobbies are hiking, mountain biking, running, photography, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldawgs every Saturday in the fall.

Jim's participation in the RYM Church Internship Program is funded through a partnership between the hosting local church and his raising support through family, friends, and other local churches. Please join Jim's support team HERE and help him be fully funded!
