Pastoral/Youth Intern (Part-Time)
Meadowview Reformed Presbyterian Church
Lexington, NC

We are a moderately-sized (approx. 375 in worship/Sunday), reformed, confessional, Presbyterian church situated in a small town along the I-85 corridor between Greensboro and Charlotte, NC.  Our worship is mostly casual and contemporary with the occasional hymn thrown in with a smattering of suits and ties in sea of jeans and untucked polo shirts.  Our youth group meets for Sunday school on Sunday mornings and for small discipleship groups on Wednesday evenings.  The real all-stars of our youth ministry are the members of our youth council, a group of young families who shepherd, teach, and otherwise own the ministry to and for our students.
We are seeking a man who desires to work toward equipping and assisting the MRPC youth council in helping further its mission and work and will assist in fostering a close relationship between the youth council and the parents of those involved in the youth group.  Our youth group’s stated mission is as follows: “to equip MRPC students to savor the grace of Christ and to be servants of that grace both locally and globally”.  This position is ideal for the man who already has some volunteer youth ministry experience to draw from, who desires to pursue or is currently pursuing a theological education, and wishes to have exposure to all the facets of vocational pastoral ministry.
