*Note on YLT Schedules: Year 1/2/3+ does not correlate to a leader's experience in ministry. In addition to a number of seminars, electives, & discussion groups, YLT teaches a particular philosophy of ministry over the course of two years. "Year 1" merely designates a leader's first time at YLT and "Year 2" their second, etc. "Year 3+" revists and digs deeper into the POM as well as their relationships with one another. During the week participants are sometimes divided into three separate groups while the rest of the time everyone is together. Recordings of ALL seminars, electives, etc., are posted online after the conference concludes.

Youth Leader Training (YLT) provides a venue for those who minister to youth in the context of the local church to gather for a week of rich content, real connection, and refreshing encouragement.
YLT is ideal for those who are new to youth ministry and may feel like they are "shooting from the hip" as well as for seasoned veterans who can pour into younger leaders and who may need encouragement and refreshment from the Gospel. YLT is ideal for all youth workers (ordained or not; full time or part time; volunteer or paid staff; male or female) who desire to think Biblically, theologically and strategically in community about ministry to youth and families.
God's blessing has been evident at YLT for over ten years as we have seen youth leaders find greater encouragement in the gospel, grow in their understanding of ministry, and develop the bonds of friendship with other youth leaders around a shared philosophy of ministry.
